so today as i was walking to school in the soviet union i was thinking, something i never do, i usually just walk to school without thinking. this is a joke, i always think. so walking, thinking, moving my feet, looking at people. i was noticing all the things that i like about this communist nation. so i am making a bullet point list, i <3 bullet points.
-every morning when i ride the metro i have to go down two escaltors, each ride down them takes about 2 mins, 4 mins in total. and while people stand there, for 4 mins, they play classical music. today they were playing swan lake (a ballet i also saw here). so everyday i start off with a classical theme song. or maybe they just play it on the escaltor while i am on it. how cool would that be! i could own ukraine, like how people own sports teams, i would just own the country.
-how cheap things are, the exchange rate is getting better every second. luckily the ukrainian economy is going down the drain! so i get more for my money!
-bread. is seriously so good. i eat five loafs a day. at least. that is a joke, six loafs a day at least. jk only three.
-the simplicity of my host families host home which i stay in. they have no clutter. no uneccesary objects. no junk. it eases my soul.
-teaching my students snoop dogg. see below.

-my bed, which has my coveted blue quilt.
-alice and alexandr, i hope they get married in 20 years, and invite me, and hopefully they will speak english.
-maria crackers.
